Preventive Medicine focuses on the health of individuals, communities, and defined populations. Its goal is to protect, promote, and maintain health and well-being and it hopes to prevent disease and disability.
What does prevention encompass?
Using common prevention strategies such as regular handwashing, helps prevent illnesses like colds and flu from spreading. Taking the time to prepare and store food safely prevents food poisoning. In both cases, it is much more efficient and cost-effective to prevent the illness than to cure it.
This is what we call primary prevention – get into action before it is too late.
Our preventive services include basic and comprehensive health checks. We also offer wellness checkup specifically design for men, women and children.

Our Gynecology Team provide comprehensive gynecological care designed to support women at all stages of their lives.
Our Well Child Centre at the IHCH is specifically designed for newborns, children & teenagers up to 16 years of age.
Please note that we adhere to a strict 24-hour No-show / cancellation policy. Therefore, please be aware that unless we receive at least 24 hours notice by emailing us, prior to the cancellation of an appointment with our Prevention Medical Team, you will receive an invoice and be charged a No-show / cancellation fee of € 45. The fee is not usually reimbursed by your insurance company.
