WELL WOMAN

This health check includes:

  • Assessment of your medical history;
  • Measurement of vital signs;
  • Physical Examination by the doctor (including physical examination of the breasts);
  • PAP-smear;
  • Laboratory tests (blood and urine exams);
  • OPTIONAL: Breast Ultrassound / Mammogram.

The cost of the medical consultation plus PAP-smear is €365.90 euros. Laboratory exams (blood and urine), as well as image exams (breast ultrassound / mammogram) are charged separately, depending on which exams you would like to do.

Our general laboratory panel includes a complete blood count, lipid panel, blood sugar, liver function, kidney function, thyroid function, electrolytes and urine test. The extra costs for the general laboratory panel is €84,80 euros.

In case you would like to perform our general laboratory panel plus a hormonal check, the total cost for the laboratory exams are €127,20 euros.

Other exams that can be performed and are also charged extra:

-> Breast Ultrassound (€123.90 euros);

-> Mammogram (€129.50 euros).

*Please note that these examinations can only be requested upon discussion with the doctor.

If your appointment is booked before 14:00, your laboratory exams can be collected on the same day of your appointment (also at IHCH). We advise patients to come preferably with 8-12 hours fasting.

*Please make sure to book your medical appointment on a day that you are not on your period, since this can affect your urine and PAP-smear exams.

After your laboratory/image results are in, the prevention doctor will prepare your Medical Report, which includes: a summary of your consultation, your laboratory results and medical advice (if applicable). Please keep in mind that your GP is still your doctor of reference, and therefore, he/she is ultimately responsible for any treatments you might need to follow as well as the follow-up of those treatments.

Before receiving your Medical Report via e-mail, the prevention doctor will give you a phone call to discuss your results and answer any questions. This phone call happens, in most cases, around 1-2 weeks after the day of your appointment.

Important information before your appointment:

  • In order for us to book your appointment, you need to be registered at our Centre as a Polyclinic patient. In case you are not yet registered to our Polyclinic, please register here;
  • After booking your appointment with one of our nurses you will receive a Medical Questionnaire via e-mail with questions about your medical history. Please make sure to fill in this questionnaire and send it back to healthcheck@ihch.nl before the date of your appointment (preferably 48 hours in advance);
  • We kindly ask you to arrive 10 minutes before your scheduled appointment in order for us to already take some measures before you see the prevention doctor;
  • We operate a strict 24h cancellation policy. If you are unable to make your appointment, please e-mail us at least 24h before your scheduled consultation to cancel your appointment. Unless we received the cancellation e-mail at least 24 hours before your appointment, a €45 no-show fee will be charged;
  • Depending on your insurance policy your medical bill might not be reimbursed. It is your responsibility to check with your insurance before your appointment to avoid unforeseen costs that you will have to cover yourself;
  • All invoices are payable directly to the IHCH on the day of consultation – we accept payment via Dutch PIN, Visa, Mastercard or American Express. We do not accept cash.
