In The Netherlands, dental fees are regulated by the Dutch Healthcare Authority – Nederlandse Zorgautoriteit NZa and the Dutch Ministry of Health. The IHCH Registration fees do not apply to the Dental Clinic.
Payment Terms
For all dental services, payment is due at time of service.
Adults: Same day payment applies to all adult patients, regardless of insurance coverage.
When payment is received, a receipt is issued to the patient which can be forwarded by the patient to their insurance company for reimbursement. Unfortunately, we cannot accept the European Health Insurance Card (EHIC)
Children – under 18 years of age
For children without Dutch dental insurance, same day payment applies.
For children with proof of Dutch dental insurance, an invoice will be submitted to their insurance company by the dental clinic.

Instalment Payment Plan
IHCH Dental offers Payment Plans for individual treatments above €500 to be repaid over a short term period. Payment plans are subject to approval and must be requested prior to the treatment.
The first instalment is due on the day of the treatment, subsequent instalments are due on the same day of the following month/s. Payment plan can only be prepared for you on the day of the treatment based on the final invoice. We kindly ask you to allow time after your treatment for our admin staff to prepare the individual payment plan for you.
Payment plan is interest free.
Payment plan is a contractual agreement. Delinquent payments will result in the full balance being due immediately and reminder fees incurred. Payment is not dependant on the results of the treatment.

No-show / Late Cancellation fees
We adhere to a strict 24-hour No-show / Late cancellation policy. Please be aware that unless we receive at least 24hrs notice via email to dental@ihch.nl to cancel your appointment with one of our dental team, you will receive an invoice and be charged a No-show / Late cancellation fee. This fee is not usually reimbursed by your insurance company.

Second or subsequent missed appointment: 75,- euros
