The International Health Centre The Hague has immediate vacancies for the following positions in our Outpatient Polyclinic:
NURSE – Part time 24 – 32 hours per week
MEDICAL ASSISTANT – Part time 24 – 32 hours per week
The applicant must meet the following requirements:
• Qualified nurse with a minimum of 2 to 3 years experience
• Experience working with international patients
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
• Working knowledge of Dutch or learning Dutch at B2 level (solely for the nurse position)
• Highly empathic with excellent interpersonal skills and strong cultural awareness
• Ability to work independently and show flexibility
• BIG registration (solely for the nurse position)
• Amongst the responsible duties drawing blood is a part of the requirements is this function. We also train and certify where needed for medical procedures. However, in case you are not comfortable nor proficient in drawing blood do feel free to apply to one of the available positions.

Both positions are in the Polyclinic where there are several specialisms. The nurse and the assistant will be flexible working in all the specialisms (Gynaecology, Surgery, Dermatology, Internal medicine, Preventive medicine, Travel clinic, ENT, Cardiology and Pediatrics)

About us
The International Health Centre the Hague (IHCH) is a dynamic Medical Centre that offers primary, paramedical, pharmaceutical, dental and medical specialist care, all under one roof. The services we offer are tailored to the specific needs and wishes of a diverse patient base of expatriates, internationals and Dutch citizens in The Hague and its surroundings. Our large team consists of committed, expert caregivers. With approximately 110 staff and 25 nationalities, the IHCH has a unique international character with English as well as other languages widely spoken across the GP, Policlinic, Prevention, Patient Relations, Pharmacy and Dentistry departments.
