Job Vacancy: Administrative Medical Assistant

IHCH (International Health Care Centre) is seeking a dedicated and organized Administrative Medical Assistant to join our team. In this role, you will provide essential administrative support to our medical staff, ensuring the smooth operation of our healthcare services. Key Responsibilities:
- Perform general administrative duties such as answering phones, scheduling appointments, and managing patient records.
- Assist with patient intake, including verifying personal information and updating medical histories.
- Coordinate communication between patients, medical professionals, and the finance department.
- Process billing and payments.
- Maintain accurate, up-to-date patient files and medical documentation.
- Handle incoming correspondence (emails, phone calls, etc.) and direct inquiries to the appropriate departments.
- Provide administrative support for healthcare professionals as needed.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant medical and privacy regulations (GDPR)
Qualifications:
- Degree in communications or equivalent; additional certifications in healthcare administration or a related field preferred.
- Previous experience in a medical office or healthcare setting is a plus.
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, etc.) and familiarity with medical office software.
- Excellent English communication skills (both written and verbal).
- Knowledge of Dutch language is a plus.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
- Strong attention to detail and effective time management skills.
