CARDIOVASCULAR RISK MANAGEMENT

The IHCH Cardiovascular Risk Management Program (CVRM) includes diagnosis, treatment and follow-up of risk factors associated with cardiovascular diseases. It focuses on controlling and reducing the types of factors that are renowned for increasing the risks of heart and vascular diseases, such as:

• Hypertension
• High cholesterol levels
• Being overweight
• Smoking

Consultations

First appointment – 45 minutes

Follow-up appointments – At least once per year or more regularly, as needed 

Referral letter

If you have Dutch insurance, you need to speak to your GP first and get a referral letter to follow our Cardiovascular Risk Management Program.

If you do not have a referral letter, it is likely that your insurance company will not reimburse the fees for the appointments.
