Dr Mathijs Kuiper

Mathijs Kuiper was born in Heemskerk, the Netherlands and studied medicine at the University of Amsterdam. After graduating in 2011, he followed the cardiology training at the Haga Hospital in The Hague, which he completed in 2018. Since then, he has worked as a cardiologist and further specialized, completing his interventional cardiology fellowship in mid-2021. Mathijs Kuiper is currently working as an interventional cardiologist at the Haga Hospital. In addition to his work at the outpatient clinic, he spends most of his time in the cath lab performing percutaneous coronary interventions and developing transcatheter aortic valve implant (TAVI) skills. Mathijs Kuiper has been working as a general cardiologist at the cardiology outpatient clinic of IHCH since 2017. Our cardiology services include preventive care (health assessment, risk assessment and follow-up) together with analysis and diagnosis of heart complaints.
