INFORMATION ABOUT VACCINATIONS
The Dutch Government is busy implementing its Covid-19 vaccination strategy. To protect the most vulnerable in society the Covid-19 vaccine is first administered to high risk groups, care workers in nursing homes and medical professionals in high risk hospital units. When it’s time for your population group to be vaccinated, you’ll get an invitation, either by letter or email. The invitation will also tell you where you can get the vaccination. This could be at a large vaccination center run by the municipal health service (GGD), or at your GP Family doctor’s office.
You need to be registered with a GP practice in order to receive the vaccine invitation.
Please note that the IHCH Polyclinic will not be administering Covid-19 vaccines, and you therefore need to speak to a GP or Family Practice where you are registered for questions regarding the vaccine.
For more information on Covid-19 vaccines visit the Dutch Government website here.
Are you a patient and do you fall under one of the medical (high) risk groups and do you have questions about the invitation for COVID-19 vaccination? DO NOT contact your medical specialist or GP yourself. You will automatically receive an invitation for vaccination from your medical specialist in the hospital, the GGD Municipal Health Service or your GP. Always use the first invitation you receive.
